Maria Puga Lareo, a celebrated Jazz and Brazilian music vocalist originally from Argentina, comes together with this extraordinary group of musicians to perform an eclectic blend of American songbook, Brazilian and Originals.

Puga Lareo was born and raised in Buenos Aires, a city rich with culture and history, where she started her musical path singing in theaters, clubs, and Jazz festivals. She released her first solo album "Body and Soul" in 2005 and began performing frequently in the New York City jazz scene, where she recorded with legendary bassist Eddie Gomez. She worked extensively with noted pianist & composer Bob Telson, with whom they recorded “Show Me Your Face,” featuring trumpeter Wynton Marsalis. She has toured different countries within Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and throughout the US. She's performed and recorded with LA's cream of the crop Jazz musicians. In 2023 she will release her third solo album with strings that features exquisite arrangements by Grammy Winner and 7 time Emmy Nominee Nan Schwartz as well as her husband, consummate saxophone-woodwind artist Bob Sheppard.

Mitch Forman, toured with some of the giants of jazz, such as Gerry Mulligan, Stan Getz, John McLaughlin and Wayne Shorter. He also worked with John Scofield, Mike Stern, Janis Siegelof The Manhattan Transfer, Dave Samuels, Diane Schuur, Gary Burton, Pat Metheny, Simon Phillips, Jimmy Earl, Freddie Hubbard, saxophonist Bill Evans and Rickie Lee Jones.

Guitar player Pat Kelley has recorded and toured with George Benson, Natalie Cole, David Benoit, Ronnie Laws, Hubert Laws, Tom Scott, Al Jarreau, Chick Corea, Dave Brubeck, Dave Koz, Jane Monheit, Olivia Newton John, Melissa Manchester, Burt Bacharach, Jose Feliciano, among others. He’s been guitarist in house bands on the Merv Griffin, Pat Sajak, and Carol Burnett tv shows. In 2003, Pat was inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

Highly sought after bassist Darek Oles, a protégé of Charlie Haden…moved to Los Angeles in 1987 from Poland, and some of the musicians he’s played with closely are Brad Mehldau, Adam Czerwninski, Larry Koonse, Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, Alan Pasqua, Kei Akagi, Bill Cunliff, Terry Gibbs, Charles Lloyd, Josh Nelson, Bennie Maupin.

Drummer Steve Hass has also worked with many, including John Scofield, Billy Childs, Bob Sheppard, Brandon Fields ,Alan Pasqua, Patti Austin, Christian McBride, Suzanne Vega, Miri Ben-Ari, Bob Berg, and Richard Bona amongst others.
